I came on a double date here and we really enjoyed the food! It's definitely more tapa style for sharing but also the dishes are not small, so get a lot! The Seeded Semolina Pita is sooo good. For dips, we loved the Bottarga and Labneh. We tried the Arugula Salad,Dry Aged Lamb Meatballs, Braised Chicken Thighs and Fusilli. The flavors were such unique/delicious combinations. My favorite was the meatballs with the pomegranate punch of flavor. Overall, loved it here!

Spent a cozy evening in this neighborhood gem with friends who were minutes away from welcoming their first child (seriously--their baby arrived the next day). I'll always be grateful to them for introducing us to the deliciousness that exists within these walls: - Seeded Semolina Pita and Rye Pita: Could bread be any softer, fresher or more fragrant? I could eat 10 lbs of this every day. Mmmm, carb-tastic! - Dips: Baccala Caponata, Bottarga, Labneh. Fish lovers must get the Baccala and the Bottarga, while savory cream lovers will of course enjoy the labneh - Hamachi Crudo: There's never not a good time for crudo, but the middle of a heat wave is especially apt - Roasted Snap Peas: If all parents could cook snap peas like this, I guarantee no kid would reject their vegetables. Crisp, refreshing, minty, and fragrant--all with loads of vitamin K! - Dry Aged Lamb Meatballs: Classic and delicious - Fusilli: Don't bypass this because it sounds common. This is SHRIMP bolognese, son For a sweet after-finish, the Labneh Sorbet is all healthy granola meets antibacterial honey meets cardamom halva, and you know your mouth's going to be in flavor country. Get it.

Food was absolutely delicious!! Will definitely come back. Labneh was 10/10 and the hummus complemented it perfectly. Also got the arugula salad not pictured and that was great too. Will definitely be back and would recommend.

Really unique and wonderful place that is perfect for the neighborhood. Great wines and food that can be shared with friends or by yourself as I chose to do. Had the chicken thighs plate(excellent!), which was recommended by Jocelyn, an awesome bartender who adds to a great staff, including owner Melissa, whose husband is the chef who gets it done. Can't wait to come back to try more dishes.

The team here is so awesome! I called ahead because I was surprising my girlfriend with her parents and a proposal. They treated her and her parents wonderfully, and from what I hear have some awesome food. Seems like good vibes all around. Thanks, Melissa. You are your folks are awesome. (She said yes)

Homey, welcoming little spot where the star of the show is, by far, their homemade, hot semolina pita bread. Wowsas! Incredible fluffy, delicious stuff. Really enjoyed their uniquely-spicy labneh and the hummus, but the risotto was shrouded in salt. Could hardly eat it. Wouldn't come back but it's a great spot for a couple of dips and that incredible bread.

Pomp and Circumstance is such a cute restaurant. I did not realize how small it was until we got there. We sat at the counter / bar and would highly recommend doing so! You can see the food prepared in the back, but also ask the bartender questions / preferences. We went on a Friday at 8pm. I would definitely recommend making a reservation ahead of time as it might be difficult to get one given the size and popularity of the restaurant. To start off, we ordered cocktails off of the menu. They were great - highly recommend. For appetizers, we ordered one Pita to share, Hummus, and Labneh. Everything tasted amazing. We ended up ordering a second Pita to keep enjoying the dips. The hummus was my personal favorite here. We then ordered the Shrimp Bolognese and Lamb Meatballs. Both of these dishes tasted fantastic, but I did prefer the Shrimp Bolognese more. We ended up not ordering dessert as we were both very full. I think the number of dishes were ordered between the two of us was the perfect amount. The portion sizes were great! I would highly recommend coming here for a date night! The food can all be shared and creates a memorable intimate experience. I will definitely be coming back here to try more of their dishes!

Everything here was excellent! I called to check in about outdoor dining and though the answer was "it depends," the restaurant was very agreeable about setting up a table the night outside my friends and I were meeting up in the area. Service was excellent throughout the night. Everything we tried was super delicious and the prices were very fair. The $18 dollar happy hour was a great deal because you get a drink, dip, and pita, which normally would add up to quite a bit more. We tried the labneh and foie gras (not included in happy hour) with both pitas and both were exceptional. Loved how fluffy and warm the pitas were. We also got a shrimp Bolognese fusilli. Unique and delicious. We also got to try the meatballs (very very good) and a short rib flat bread (my least favorite). Wheelchair access details: there is a small step to get inside. I don't know if there is a ramp or accessible restroom is available as I didn't have a need to go in.

Came here for RW with a friend and was not disappointed! So much food was included, it was a great deal and I was so happy. I heard they also have a great happy hour that includes wine and a dip! The food was delicious, standouts for me were the risotto (a surprise favorite) and the hummus. We also got the onion dip, which was good but I think we should have gotten the labne and the lamb meatballs. These were also good but had so much cream on them that I think it was overwhelming with the sauce the meatballs come in. The pita was fresh-fresh and mouth wateringly delicious little soft pockets of bread. So good. The desserts were very rich and not memorable. Service was good and we both enjoyed our wine. The ambience is quaint and relaxed. Not stuffy- a great place to even join for solid dining at the bar. 4.7/5

Great dinner in a cute, casually classy spot. We came during Restaurant Week, and were excited that they let the 2 of us share one Restaurant Week and add a dish. We started with a Bottarga dip with rye pita. LOVED the pita, so soft and fresh. The dip was pretty good, very oniony, a bit fishy with the roe. We then did the kale salad which was pretty solid too. I liked the crisps on it. For our shared plates, we did the casarecce and added on lamb meatballs. The casaracce was really filling and pretty good. The lamb meatballs came with 4, but were fairly large. Also solid. We were super full at this point. We ended with the chocolate torte, which had a nice gooey middle. Pretty small, but solid. Overall, everything was pretty good but nothing wowed me or was super memorable. I don't feel the need to come back. I'm also glad we split a Restaurant Week since it was enough food for us. If you have a bigger appetite or are super hungry, I'd consider adding on more dishes or getting 2 Restaurant Weeks.
